Two Season 2 Claim To Fame stars have gone on to find unlikely love. Though they would occasionally play together or against each other, the cast seemed to really like each other. Yet, it was two castmates that found they really liked one another and went on to pursue something once the cameras stopped rolling. When Claim To Fame started, the cast was against each other, trying to figure out who each person’s celebrity relative was. As time went on, they started to form alliances and share clues. Some were to help while others were to use their co-stars. Olivia Aquilina was sent home on the July 31st episode. They guessed that Karsyn’s was related to Jeff Gordon and that proved to be false. Therefore, they were eliminated and it was revealed that Jenny McCarthy was their aunt. Then, on the August 7th episode, Hugo Wentzel was the picker and he was supposed to choose Karsyn.
In a twist, he chose his “ally” Chris but guessed that he was related to Sir Elton John. This was really laughable given that the clues were about his relative being a Utah Mormon. Sir Elton is from England. In any case, Hugo’s relative was revealed to be former President Jimmy Carter as he is his grandson. Now that Olivia and Hugo are no longer on the show, it turns out that love has brewed between the two of them. According to People, Hugo is over the moon about his romance with Olivia (using she/they pronouns for clarity).
“It’s amazing. Olivia’s the best. I literally love Olivia. It’s crazy I got to meet them on that show,” President Carter’s grandson shared. It was not until they both left that it clicked that they should try and revisit something. Hugo added: “After [the show] we linked up and it’s just been great.” Though Hugo played a devilish game, he did bring fans and his fellow cast to tears when he boasted about how amazing his grandpa was and still is.
Finally Out
Now that the secret is out about the Claim To Fame romance, Olvia shared a TikTok with Hugo in it. Olivia starts by dancing and then Hugo enters the picture. It is clear they just really enjoy each other and make one another happy.

Fellow contestant, Jane left several red heart emojis, and Hugo even left this: “🥰🥰.” Though they may not have won the 100K, they won something even better- each other’s hearts.
