Doubling Down With the Derricos Season 4 finale airs tonight.
In case you missed the news, the DDWTD season finale airs tonight, Tuesday, August 8 at 10/9c. Sadly, this fun season is wrapping up, and fans will have to say goodbye to Karen and Deon Derrico’s crew for at least a little while.
As we reported, TLC has dropped a few hints about what the finale holds. In one clip, the family is bonding and dancing together in the living room. This is something they love to do in their spare time, and it helps them feel closer and more connected.
Also in the finale, fans will see Amani break some sad news to Deon and Karen. He reveals that he’s not going to make it for Thanksgiving as planned. These are only a couple of storylines in the finale, and there’s plenty more to come. So, be sure to tune in.

Is Doubling Down With the Derricos Season 5 confirmed?
At this point, TLC has not yet renewed Doubling Down With the Derricos for a fifth season. The network tends to keep quiet on new seasons until the weeks or months leading up to their premiere dates. So, this could explain why the new season is not officially confirmed.
Fortunately, TLC also hasn’t announced a cancelation. While it’s possible for the series to come to an end or be renewed, it’s all still up in the air. Fans will have to wait a little longer to find out the show’s fate.
When could the new season possibly air?
Note that the show hasn’t officially been renewed at this point, so no premiere date has been announced. So, this is all speculation. However, in the past, three of the four seasons have kicked off in the summer late spring through the summer months of May, June, and August. Season 3 did begin in February. Based on the previous seasons, it’s possible we will see a new season next summer. But it depends on filming, production, contracts, and many other factors.

We need this program back on the air. It’s encouraging to see a large black family living a lovely life with everyone respecting each other and showing love to each other. This is an example for the young families today. Please put it back on. We need it. The black community needs i, it’s a really nice family program where the children and the parents can sit down and watch it
The Derrick’s are a sweet family. I have enjoyed watching them grow and expand. They are so loving and welcoming. Wonderful example of what we should all aspire. Never an unkind word. I pray they found the house they are looking for and need. Please renew the series if they want to.

I have tried to call TLC to find out when the Derricos are coming back. This show is challenging and show love for people. I hope to see a season 5.
