‘Golden Bachelor’ Gerry Turner Ready To Find Love Again

Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner is ready to find love again
After losing his wife in 2017, Gerry Turner is ready to find love again. It’s not that he hasn’t dated since she passed but he never clicked with anyone. He shared more about it in an interview with Bachelor Nation.
Gerry shared that after taking a lot of time to heal he is finally really ready to love again. He said, “You try and date, and when you fail, you look back and ask yourself why. Pretty soon, I was looking internally and realized at the time that I wasn’t ready for it yet. I thought that magic number, one year after my wife passed, everything would be fine and I would be ready.”
He continued, “Like okay, I’ve served my year of solitude, now I’m ready. But it didn’t work like that for me. It was a lot longer, so once I realized that’s why those dating experiences weren’t working out, it got me over the hump and I took my time to really heal and feel ready.”
Gerry has the full support of his two daughters and two granddaughters. In fact, it was them who suggested he apply for the show.
What is he looking for?
Gerry also shared what are the most important qualities he is looking for in another wife. He said the “first and most important is being a good communicator, both in delivering information and listening. Good communication is the most important.”
He continued to say that she must have a good sense of humor. This is something that is huge for Gerry. He said he screws things up a lot and needs someone who will laugh with him at themselves.
Gerry also wants a woman with a lot of energy. He likes to keep busy and try different things. He wants a wife that will be excited about new things and full of energy to do them.
Gerry also has been receiving advice from different buddies and so far none of them have been the same.
Overall, he’s excited about the experience and really thinks it can work out. He’s staying open and ready to get to know the women chosen for him.
