Courtney Waldrop Shares Sad News, Son Lands In Hospital
Sweet Home Sextuplets star Courtney Waldrop shared some sad news with fans this weekend as her son has landed in the hospital. She gave fans a full update, including photos. So, what happened to her son? Is he doing okay now? Keep reading for all of the details.
The Sweet Home Sextuplets family has experienced lots of injuries.
If you follow Courtney Waldrop on Instagram, you have likely seen many posts about her kids’ injuries. Unfortunately, her nine kiddos often end up getting hurt in one way or another. They are all involved in sports and also love playing outside and being active, which can sometimes lead to injuries. Fortunately, so far, no one has been injured too badly. As we reported last month, Saylor Waldrop broke his nose and required surgery.
Now, another Waldrop kiddo has landed in the hospital.
Courtney Waldrop updates fans on her son’s injury.
On Instagram on Saturday, Courtney revealed to Sweet Home Sextuplets fans that Bridge broke his arm. She posted several photos of the 11-year-old boy in the hospital bed. Then, she offered some details. She said, “Here we go again..another broken bone in the Waldrop family😩 Poor Bridge broke his arm at football practice last night. Gosh he handled it great…better than I would have. They reset it, wrapped it up and put that cute little animal sling on him!!🐶
The mom of nine added, “I’ve just accepted that broken bones in our family is going to be a part of our lives.”

On Monday, Bridge has an appointment with an orthopedic doctor, so they will have more details to share after that. In her post, the mom of nine added that she’s hopeful that her son won’t need surgery after this. She will hopefully continue to keep fans in the loop throughout the recovery process.
In response to Courtney’s new post, her family received lots of love and support from fans. Her followers promised to keep Bridge in their prayers as he recovers and many asked for updates along the way. Someone sweetly said, “He’s such a tough, brave kid!!!! Praying for him to heal quickly and as little pain as possible!!!”
Another joked that it’s time to start wrapping all of the Waldrop kids in bubble wrap. Hopefully, they don’t have too many more injuries this year.
