What Is WCTH Episode ‘Hope Springs Eternal’ About?

According to the Hallmark synopsis, the whole town of Hope Valley is buzzing about the hot springs. Many believe that this surprising natural phenomenon will be the source of prosperity during this economic downturn. This new hot spring has united the town, as they enjoy the warmth of being together.

Meanwhile, Aunt Agatha (Karin Konoval) and Julie (Charlotte Hegele) have arrived in town, eager to spend time with the affianced couple. Already, Lucas (Chris McNally) is learning that his fiancée’s family has an odd sense of humor. When Lucas first greets Aunt Agatha, he charmingly greets her, “Good day, Madame, you must be the favorite aunt I keep hearing of?”

Aunt Agatha icily responds, “And you must be the man who thinks he’s marrying my niece? It’s a pleasure to meet you.” Then the ice turns to a smile, as she looks at Elizabeth (Erin Krakow), “And that was a joke, you must tell your young man he mustn’t take me so seriously.”

Looks like the 100th episode will be spiced with some humor, as well as some wedding talk!
