‘Bachelorette’ Charity Lawson Regrets Brayden Bowers Drama?
The Bachelorette Charity Lawson caught some heat from fans for keeping Brayden Bowers around as long as she did. She finally sent him home after he told her he didn’t want to be there anymore. Now, Charity is spilling the tea on if she has any regrets about the way she handled Brayden and if she should have really taken away his rose as she threatened. Keep reading to find out what she has to say.
Does Charity Lawson have regrets about Brayden Bowers?
Bachelorette Charity Lawson went on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast to talk about her time as the lead. She also opened up about Brayden Bowers and if she has any regrets about him.
Charity had a very genuine answer and said, “I don’t want to say I have any regrets from the show, but the moment where I was threatening to take back his rose, I really should’ve acted then. I was just really in my head and I tend to overanalyze things too much. I was like, what if I do it too soon and then something changes? That’s where my head was at in that moment.”
Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt also wanted to know if she was nervous to see him again after their heated moment. Of course, they were referring to the Men Tell All special where Charity will face the men she sent home.
While many leads have expressed being nervous in the past, Charity said she is not nervous about seeing any of them. She doesn’t really know what to expect either. She admitted she is not sure what kind of energy some of the men will bring especially Brayden. However, she noted she will always meet people with a little grace.
The Bachelorette does hope Brayden will own up to some of his mistakes. She gave the example of him coming back to apologize. She said that was for him not really for her. Will he admit he was wrong in some cases? Fans will have to wait and see how it al plays out when the MenTellsAll airs.
What went wrong between them?
Charity also dished on where she thinks her relationship went wrong with Brayden. She said, “The whole problem with me and Brayden is what was told to me is also shared again as a topic of discussion for the guys in the house. That was a problem for me. When it comes to the comment about me not being myself, Brayden did share that with me on our one-on-one date. He was not easing into the comfortability of what this whole process is and the premise of it.”
She also said in a way she felt like he was accusing her of being inauthentic. Charity tried to comfort him and explain that what he sees is what he gets. She is being real and that is how she is on the show and off the show. This created friction for them.
What do you think about Brayden and the way Charity handled the situation? Will he own up to it all on the Men Tell All?
