What Is Hallmark’s A Safari Romance About?
Ready to take a trip to South Africa? Here is what A Safari Romance is about. According to the Hallmark synopsis, research scientist Megan is living her best life. She is living in South Africa, working as a park ranger at an incredible nature reserve. She sees giraffes every single day. Megan is also pursuing a Ph.D. in Ethology.
She enjoys a normal routine with tourists coming in and out, as well as working with the locals. But, things dramatically change when American theme park designer Tim comes to the reserve.
He is there to observe the giraffes, as well as elephants and lions for “an immersive, safari-themed attraction.” Her job is to guide him to the wildlife. But, they soon share a lot about themselves and grow close.
However, when Amy (Simoné Pretorius) gets into the picture, things get dicey. Amy is a woman from Tim’s “past.” Unlike Tim, she doesn’t follow the rules that are necessary for their safety, and for the animal’s safety. This puts Megan’s job in jeopardy.
More than that, Amy has now become the third wheel in their cozy walks and animal observations. Any sort of romance is now put on hold. But, Megan is now starting to believe that maybe this is for the best. Tim does live halfway across the world.
Once Tim gets all of his information, he will return to the States and Megan won’t see him again. She doesn’t want to get her heart hurt. But, is she missing out on the biggest adventure of them all?

The premiere of A Safari Romance is on Saturday, August 12, at 8 p.m., Eastern, on the Hallmark Channel. In addition, Peacock will stream this movie up to 72 hours after the premiere.

Based on Brittany’s Instagram, and Andrew’s Instagram, they filmed in Mabula Game Lodge, and Lion & Safari Park, both in South Africa, in the north-eastern part of the country.

Hallmark’s A Safari Romance is a Bristow family affair. Brittany Bristow is the star. In addition, her father Leif Bristow is the director and executive producer. Lastly, Brittany’s mother Agnes Bristow wrote the script and is a producer. The three worked together in the 2022 movie A Tail Of Love.
