Now, she has to alter her life to her new reality. This means Emily has to rely on others to do even basic things.
She is “struggling.” But Emily’s friend Matthew is patient. He helps her accept her situation Next, Matthew is there for her as she learns to navigate her life and create new systems.
Meanwhile, Garth, a potential guide dog, “is also struggling with his rigorous training.” However, his trainer Katie knows Garth can do it. Her patience and hard work will train Garth into becoming a valuable guide dog. He will change someone’s life and assist them.
Emily and Garth almost meet on several occasions, just missing each other. They both learn and “overcome obstacles” before the two are paired up with each other. They are a perfect pair.
Now, can Emily overcome her resistance to love and open up her heart?

Two Actresses From The Community In Film
Sarah Drew revealed that making this movie was a “deeply moving experience that allowed me to enter into the blind and partially sighted community in a very powerful way.”
The Amber Brown star continued, “We were honored to have two actresses from the community play roles in the film, and sitting with them both and hearing their stories was transformative for me and for our crew.”
Lastly, the Christmas In Vienna star revealed that she visited the Guide Dogs Of America open house before filming commenced. She learned about the two-year training process.
Guiding Emily walks the audience into this world in a moving, tender, educational, and compassionate way. I hope the audience will be affected by this film as we were all making it.
