‘RHOBH’ Kyle Richards Creating The New ‘Scandoval’?

Is Kyle Richards using her forum on RHOBH to create the new ‘Scandoval’? It appears that way with everything that is currently going on with her marriage and affair drama. Viewers thought that they would get to analyze what was going on with Kyle and Mauricio Umansky’s declining marriage via Season 13. RHOBH Kyle Richards Creating The New ‘Scandoval’?

One month into Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules airing, ‘Scandoval’ broke. It came out that Tom Sandoval had been cheating on his girlfriend of almost a decade, Ariana Madix. However, it was not with some random person but rather her best friend, Raquel Leviss. Furthermore, it had been going on for months. Ratings immediately spiked for the show as viewers looked for any and all clues that Sandoval had been cheating. At the same time that this was happening, cameras immediately went right back up to capture what was going on in real time. They had stopped filming for the season six months prior.

Filming for Season 13 had already ended for RHOBH when rumors circulated that Kyle Richards had been having an affair with Morgan Wade. Then, it came out that Kyle and Mauricio were splitting up. This could have been the perfect setup for a Pump/’Scandoval’ situation for cameras to come back up. Of course, it was revealed that their marital problems would be covered in Season 13. However, this seemingly has changed.

According to TMZ, cameras are back up at RHOBH just like they were for Vanderpump Rules when ‘Scandoval’ happened. Per some insiders, the BH women will start filming once again this week. It will be quite similar to what happened with Pump as it is all about seeing how the women feel. They will be examing life post-split despite the fact that Kyle and Mauricio have been denying that they are separated. The duo has shared that this year has been the hardest of their nearly thirty-year marriage but want to work it out privately.

All For Ratings?

Kyle Richards having marital problems along with the affair allegations prior to Season 13 airing was more than enough for ratings. Then, to add in the idea that this was going to play out on TV was even more fuel to the fire. It seems that Bravo wants to guarantee that the ratings are exceptionally high for RHOBH by filming these extra scenes. It has been two months since they all last filmed together and the next thing would have been the reunion. Looks like the network found a formula in ‘Scandoval’ and is sticking to it.
