Several books and an explosive documentary were released against them and the IBLP. Additionally, reports claim that they’ve been struggling financially since cutting ties with TLC. Some fans also wonder if they still attend the church, though others believe there have been changes in recent years.

Back in the day, the Duggars were inviting people into their compound to worship. Many of them came from the IBLP, while some are outsiders. The guests had full access to the house, including the kids’ dorms, which resulted in an unfortunate event. Jinger’s diary got stolen from her room, which was later listed on an online shopping website. Since then, the Counting On family has reportedly stopped hosting religious ceremonies at their house.

Do They Still Attend Church?

The CSAM arrest of Josh brought so much damage to the Duggar family’s reputation, especially towards Jim Bob and Michelle. There are reports that several people cut their connection with the family after the controversies. However, it’s believed they still have plenty of supporters and were never kicked out of the IBLP. Though they have yet to share if they still attend religious gatherings.

Some Counting On fans are also curious if the Duggar parents are still in touch with the pastors after defending their son from his immoral sins. The Duggars claim that they’re “Independent Baptists,” a strict and higher form of Christianity, which may be one of the main reasons why they’re less criticized in the IBLP.

Counting On: The Duggar Family’s Recent Get-Together

Jinger recently took to YouTube to share a vlog featuring their recent gatherings. She flew to Arkansas to pay her family a visit. Some Counting On fans praised Jeremy Vuolo’s wife for her efforts to stay in touch with her family despite stepping away from the IBLP. Jill also spent time with the Duggars despite her participation in Shiny Happy People.

Jinger also shared clips of her mother spending time with them. While Jim Bob was nowhere to be seen. There are speculations that he’s busy looking after the younger kids in the Duggar compound. Others believe he’s shying away from the cameras to avoid further controversy.
