Larsa Pippen has a thing for basketball stars (or their offspring) as she was married to Scottie Pippen for over twenty years. He was known for his time with the Chicago Bulls. Their marriage was featured when she was first cast on RHOM then she exited but when she came back, their divorce was official. She then moved on with Marcus Jordan who happens to be the son of basketball royalty, Michael Jordan. More so, Michael also played for the Bulls and was once close with Larsa’s ex-husband, Scottie. Now, their worlds are colliding all over again.
Larsa Pippen is seemingly over the moon happy with Marcus and has said that his dad approves. According to TMZ, when Larsa was on The Tamron Hall Show, she had this to say when it came to her boyfriend’s family: “I feel like, we’ve spent holidays together and it’s good. We’re in a great place.” However, Marcus’ father, Michael recently did not have the same story to tell. It seems like he is not so happy about what is going on between his son and Larsa. As he exited the Parisian Matignon, Marcus’ romance with Larsa came up. How does daddy feel?
Michael Jordan was asked if this has his seal of approval to which he laughed and said: “No!” He was asked once more just to be clear and he shook his head to let everyone know where he stood. Whether or not Larsa and Marcus know this is unknown. It could be the age difference as Marcus is 32 and Larsa is 48 or the fact that she was married to Scottie. In any case, papa Jordan is not liking what is happening between the lovebirds.
Can They Make It Work?
Parental approval is important so it is questionable if Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen can continue to thrive now that his father is opposed. Their romance started out quietly as she admitted she hid his identity in her phone so no one would know who he was. That is the same thing that happened when Pump Rules star Tom Sandoval was cheating on Ariana Madix with Raquel Leviss. He had Raquel’s name saved as something else to keep the secret going. Only time will tell if Michael will change his tune.
