Fans Horrified As Tori Roloff Ignores Car Seat Safety Guidelines?
Little People, Big World fans are horrified as Tori Roloff appears to be ignoring car seat safety guidelines and putting her kids at risk. She shared a new picture of her kiddos as they drove around, but she may not have received the response she was expecting. Instead, she’s being schooled on car seat safety as fans fear for her children’s safety.
In the past, Tori and Zach have been called out by fans over the way they raise their kids. Sometimes, they make risky moves when it comes to their kids’ safety. Now, they’re taking it to another level, leaving fans in shock.
Tori Roloff gives fans a peek into the car.
This weekend, the Roloffs traveled to Texas to attend the Little People of America Conference. While they were there, they were to the Museum of Ice Cream, which left Tori disappointed. Before heading to the museum, she snapped a picture of herself and six-year-old Jackson in the car. In the background, Lilah, 3, and Josiah, 1, can be seen sitting in the car seats.
LPBW fans are horrified.
On Reddit, fans reposted Tori Roloff’s Instagram Story post from the car and immediately noticed an issue with the kids’ car seats. In the backseat, Josiah and Lilah can be seen sitting in their car seats facing the front of the car.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, children should use rear-facing car seats from birth through ages two to four years. The CDC notes that this provides kids with the “best possible protection.”
Lilah will only be four years old in November 2023, and Josiah just turned one in May. So, fans agree that they should definitely still be rear-facing, particularly because they are little people. LPBW viewers think that the car seat guidelines may be even stricter for the Roloff kiddos.
One fan said, “In most states, including Washington, it is illegal to have your children forward-facing before 2 years old. Plus, they’ll probably take longer to meet the forward-facing weight and height minimums because they’re little people.”
At the moment, the Roloffs are in Texas for the Little People of America Conference. But they live in Washington, so if they typically follow these rules, they should do so at home and away.
Another fan added, “You would think since she has little people children, who will obviously be smaller than their peers, she would be able to see that forward facing is absolutely ridiculous and unsafe to do right now.”
Someone else chimed in, “And LP heads measure larger making it even more dangerous. The main reason for rear-facing is to prevent spinal cord injuries. If they even stop fast his little neck could be injured.”
Hopefully, despite the fact that Zach and Tori Roloff aren’t following car seat safety guidelines, their kids stay safe.
