Bethenny Frankel Chimes In On ‘Overrated’ Teresa Giudice
Bethenny Frankel has taken a side in the drama surrounding whether Teresa Giudice is overrated or not on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Frankel, who starred in the franchise on The Real Housewives of New York City had her opinion, but many of her fans disagreed with her when all was said and done.

Bethenny Frankel on whether Teresa Giudice is overrated
Bethenny Frankel has chimed in on what is an old debate for Real Housewives fans. In October 2022, Real Housewives of Orange County alum Vicki Gunvalson said that she feels Teresa Giudice is the most overrated housewife in the franchise. Vicki said that she didn’t understand how Teresa could go to jail and then return to the show where “She keeps making more and more money and it’s hard for me to understand.”
A second housewife repeated the claim this year. Tamra Judge and Teresa Giudice are in a major feud, with Teresa claiming that Tamra wanted her on her podcast to bring more listeners to it. However, Tamra said her podcast regularly ranks near the top of the charts and Teresa’s rarely ranks at all. Teddi Mellencamp backed this up.
Last month, Tamra appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and he asked her about Teresa. This is where she said Teresa is the most “overrated” housewife of all time. This echoed what Vicki said last year, and is becoming a common quote among some housewives. However, Bethenny Frankel disagrees with this idea.
Before she really got into her reasoning, she said she figured it was Andy Cohen who asked the question, rolling her eyes when saying that (via Page Six). She then said that the only reason Tamra said this was because of their “current dispute.” Bethenny went on to say, “There’s no way that you could ever call Teresa overrated as a Housewife. I mean the woman did time.”
Bethenny Frankel clashes with fans online
It seems Bethenny Frankel’s fans don’t agree that serving time in prison keeps Teresa Giudice from being overrated. Bethenny, as usual, was mostly dismissive when the fans started piling on. She simply said in a follow-up video, “The people have spoken, I stand corrected.” Pointing to the comments, she said the fans feel Teresa is the most overrated, so “maybe Tamra Judge does know it all.”
She then said, “Hashtag I don’t know it all.” This caused people to all start debating the issue. Some fans backed up Bethenny that Teresa is, in no way, overrated. This led Bethenny to mockingly say, “That’s what I thought but look at the comments.”
