Blayke Busby’s Response Catches Danielle & Adam Off Guard

Blayke Busby is growing up quickly.
If you follow Danielle and Adam on social media, you have likely seen their regular updates about their daughters. While fans often focus on the quints, Adam and Danielle’s eldest daughter, Blayke, is growing up quickly too. She’s 12 years old now and experiencing many big life changes, from school and extracurricular activities to making friends and becoming more independent.
This next chapter of Blayke’s life will be shown in the new season of OutDaughtered. However, her involvement in the show caught her parents off-guard.
Danielle & Adam Busby are in shock, but why?
In a recent interview with Today, the couple opened up about their family’s decision to continue doing the show. In the interview, they also talked about their daughters and how they feel about filming. After being on TLC since they were babies, it’s all they’ve known.
Amid their TLC hiatus, the quints asked their parents about the film crew coming back to their house and showed interest in filming again. As Adam and Danielle considered coming back for another season, they wondered how Blayke Busby might feel. Adam admitted, “I thought of all the kids, we would get the most pushback from her, and that she’d be the most apprehensive to step back in.”
Danielle offered an explanation for Adam’s reasoning and pointed out that, being in sixth grade, there are “a lot of changes” in Blayke’s life.
The OutDaughtered parents were stunned to find out that Blayke did want to participate. Adam told Today, “She was like, ‘I want to do it,’ and I was like, ‘Really? Are you serious?’ She was so positive and responsive to the idea, and that made (the decision) so much easier.”
After filming, the parents determined that this is an amazing season for Blayke Busby. Danielle claimed that she seems more “mature” and “comfortable” than ever before.
