As the Johnston kiddos grow up, there are many big changes ahead. From Emma and Alex Johnston preparing to finish high school to Anna Johnston buying her first home, there’s a lot going on. Thanks to TLC and social media, fans have had the chance to be along for the ride since 2015.
However, Amber admitted to her social media followers this week that a door has officially closed.

On her Instagram Stories, the 7 Little Johnstons mama revealed that she was packing for the upcoming Little People of America Conference. Her family attends the conference regularly and has the chance to connect with other little people. From the photos and videos, it looks like they typically have a blast.
While packing, however, she noted that it was the end of an era. She said, “Gone are the days of ME packing for 7 & ALL of the outfits coordinated!”
She didn’t share exactly how she feels about her kids growing up and being able to pack for themselves. This is probably pretty bittersweet for the mom of five though. It’s a sign that her kids are truly growing up, which may be sad. But it’s certainly a lot easier to just pack for herself.

On Friday morning, Amber revealed to her followers that her family had set off to head to the conference. You can see her post below. Of course, fans are wishing the family the best.
