‘Claim To Fame’ Host Changes Name Out Of The Blue
The reality show Claim to Fame is hosted by Jonas Brothers star Kevin Jonas and his little brother Frankie Jonas. During the reality show, the two Jonas brothers quiz a group of people on their relationship with celebrities. However, on the latest episode of the television show that took place on Wednesday, June 28, fans noticed that one of the hosts changed their name out of the blue.

Is It Frankie Jonas Or Franklin Jonas?
In Claim to Fame‘s episode that took place on Monday, viewers noticed that Frankie’s name was changed to Franklin, on literally everything. The reality show is where relatives of celebrities all go into a house with each other. While in the house, they have to try and hide the identity of their celebrity relative from their housemates. The winner takes home $100,000. Fans ultimately thought they were losing their minds when they first noticed the name change. Nothing was said about the decision, not a word, and according to The U.S. Sun, ABC had even changed all of their marketing materials for the show to say Franklin and not Frankie. So, no wonder fans thought they were crazy, they could not find any proof that it was Frankie. Why do you think they decided to not mention the subject at all? Did they think no one would notice?
Fans Suspect Why He Changed His Name
A few fans have shared their thoughts and theories on Reddit. Some have shared how they think his real name could be Franklin and he was just going by Frankie for short. Viewers even suggested that he had just outgrown Frankie and that he needed something more mature. The start of the conversation included:
“Franklin Jonas: This man just switched to going by Franklin instead of Frankie, and they just say nothing about it. I thought I was losing my mind, but suddenly everywhere his name is written as Franklin. Anyone know when this happened?”
Another fan claimed:
“When Kevin was calling him Franklin, I thought it was just a brotherly teasing thing lol. Didn’t realize he switched his media image!”
Fans were in shock when they realized they weren’t just calling him Franklin, and that he had changed his whole image for the public eye.
However, maybe Franklin wanted to change his name way before fans realized it. Another commenter pointed out that he had released music under the name Franklin Jonas in January.
“I think he changed it around the new year? He released a song this winter under ‘Franklin Jonas’ called Cocaine. He’s definitely all grown up!”
Perhaps the reality show host has been wanting to change his name to feel more mature for a while now and just decided to rip off the band-aid.
