Thomas Jacobs throws shade as Becca Kufrin leaves podcast
Former Bachelorette Becca Kufrin announced this week that she is leaving the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast. Fans were shocked and many wondered if it was the end entirely for the beloved podcast. She was vague and didn’t give many details. When she announced she was leaving she said, “I’ve actually received quite a bit of DMs regarding ‘Happy Hour.’ It’s obviously been a while since there’s been any recordings or since I’ve even talked about it. It’s just time for some different things, but I will be forever so grateful and thankful for all of the fans and listeners out there.”
Becca went on to share that she has been a part of the podcast for a few years now even through Covid and touring live. She thanked fans for their support through the years and for listening.
Now, fans are wondering if there is more to the story than what Becca has alluded to. Her fiance, Thomas Jacobs, went to Instagram Stories to share some interesting comments. When asked if he would be tuning in to watch Charity Lawson as The Bachelorette, he shared a little more than just if he was watching or not.
Thomas said without saying too much he is not thrilled with the decisions and directions that are happening behind the scenes over the last several months. He also mentioned that he has only ever watched Bachelor in Paradise and does not see that changing. Plus, he and Becca are beginning a baby class on Monday evenings that will be their top priority.
He threw even more shade
A fan commented on a post noting they wished Becca and Michelle had a final podcast episode to say goodbye. Thomas responded saying they would have liked that too.
He also went back to Instagram to share more about his rant from the day before. He said he has gotten a lot of DMs and he wanted to clarify. Thomas said he understands it was a business decision and he doesn’t disagree with it. However, he did say what he has seen over the past three months is an example of how not to treat people.
He shared that he is frustrated and distancing himself from the situation because there is a right way and a wrong way to do things. He has witnessed a masterclass in how you do not implement change and how not to roll out a new strategy along with how not to treat people.
Thomas clarified this is not a distraction from Charity’s season and he hopes she has the best experience ever.
What do you think about Thomas’ comments? Is there more to the story that fans don’t know?
