‘My 600-Lb. Life’ Janine Mueller 2023 Update: Where Is She Now?
Janine Mueller starred on an episode of My 600-Lb. Life back in 2018; so where is she as of 2023?
When Janine joined the show for Season 6, she quickly won the hearts of viewers. She was determined to make a change in her life, no matter what obstacles stood in her way. When the episode began, she weighed in at 678.2 lbs. After a year, she got down to 566 lbs.
At the time, she didn’t quite qualify for bariatric surgery with Dr. Now. But even so, Janine wasn’t about to give up on her goals. But what happened after her episode ended? And where is she now?

Janine Mueller’s social media posts have become more infrequent
These days, Janine Mueller doesn’t really keep an active public presence. She does have a public Instagram and Facebook page, but she hasn’t posted on either account in quite some time.
As a result, it’s difficult to say where she is as of 2023. But based on her latest posts, fans can draw some conclusions.
Back in 2019, In Touch Weekly reported that Janine lost even more weight and went on to get a boyfriend. Fans were happy to learn that she had gotten back into the dating game. But due to her social media absence, it’s not currently known if she is seeing anyone.
This is the last publicly available photo of Janine Mueller, taken in January 2022. It’s available on her public Facebook page and received a lot of positive attention from followers. It’s a selfie so fans can’t be entirely sure that she’s kept up with her goals. However, Janine is smiling and looks fairly healthy so it’s a good sign that she’s still taking care of herself.
“Beautiful picture. So glad you are doing great,” one Facebook user wrote.
“So proud of you. Turn off your head, walk, [breathe] in the sunshine when you can and write those gratitude lists!!! Stay in therapy,” another added.
Janine later posted a photo of jewelry in September 2022, which is her last post on her public Facebook page. She’s living a quieter life these days, but it appears that she’s still around.
The My 600-Lb. Life Season 6 star quits the series
It’s not at all uncommon to learn that guests quit the show. However, it’s typically the patients that didn’t have much success with Dr. Now’s programs. Janine Mueller was actually one of the more successful participants, which was why fans found it so shocking that she voluntarily quit.
Starcasm reported that Janine was incredibly frustrated with the way her story was edited. She claimed that she credited God with her weight loss success and talked a lot about her faith in interviews. However, TLC edited most of that content out. As a result, Janine quit and won’t be back for any follow-ups with TLC.
