Emma’s latest announcement isn’t the only one she’s made recently. Her mom, Amber Johnston, took to social media this week to reveal a huge accomplishment. Emma is a dual enrollment student, which means she gets to take classes that count as both high school and college credits.
And now, she has another big announcement, which also comes with a bittersweet goodbye.

On Instagram on Friday, Emma shared a series of photos of herself. Her family and friends also appeared in a few of the pictures. These snaps were all taken over the past year, which was Emma’s junior year of high school. Now, that phase of her life has come to an end. She said that her senior year is “next up.” Then, she added, “Here’s to all great junior year memories and the goodbyes.”
This is a bittersweet life change for Emma Johnston. She’s growing up quickly and will be heading off to college before she knows it. Hopefully, she will enjoy her final year of high school and make the most of it.
