Stassi Schroeder is admitting that she relates to her former Vanderpump Rules castmate Tom Sandoval. Though Schroeder was fired from the show back in Season 8, she has kept in touch with her co-stars. Yet, she and Sandoval never had the best relationship. Now, she is speaking out about ‘Scandoval’ and how, on some level, she can understand Tom’s position. Read on for more details.

Stassi Schroeder Admits She Relates To Tom Sandoval

‘Scandoval’ has brought former Vanderpump cast members out of the woodwork to share their opinions. Stassi Schroeder is one of them. She and Tom Sandoval have not had the easiest past as they have often butted heads in previous seasons. One of the most notable fights that they had was when Stassi had a book signing at TomTom in Season 8. Everything was all set up then hours before, Sandoval sent Stassi scathing texts. He treated her like a second-class citizen at her own event and when it came to him apologizing, he always had a “but” after his “I’m sorry.”

She did struggle to get his then-girlfriend, Ariana Madix to like her but then they finally became friends. Once it came out in Season 10 that Raquel Leviss had been having an affair with Sandoval, of course, Stassi was team Ariana. Earlier on Wednesday, June 14th, Stassi Schroeder, who is wrapping up her tour, appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast. According to Us Weekly, Stassi admitted she could somewhat relate to Tom Sandoval. In reference to how the public has treated Sandoval, she spoke out on that issue with her own experience.

“I’ve been in a position where I’ve received so much hate before. I don’t like where we’re at, like, in society where, like, that’s how we punish people. … It’s like emotionally beheading people,” Stassi explained. She added: “Who’s to decide what the punishment should be? Like, who makes someone the authority on that? What makes this person on their computer the authority on what they think is enough hate for him to receive? I don’t get down with that. … I don’t like it.”

Stassi Retracts

Though Stassi Schroeder seemingly related to Tom Sandoval, she later took to Instagram to explain what she actually meant. Apparently, she feels that her words were taken out of context. More so, she wants to make it clear that she does not condone the behavior of her former co-star.

It’s a fine line to walk when Tom Sandoval comes into the conversation. Fortunately, she saw how she was being viewed and took the time to try to make it right. Whether or not it will work is yet to be seen.

Do you think Stassi was somewhat defending Sandoval and realized she was wrong? Or, was it really taken the wrong way? Let us know in the comments below.
