Amy Halterman Shocks Fans With Latest Glenn Photos
Fans were quite appalled at Amy Halterman‘s latest uploads of her youngest son.
Now that Amy and Michael Halterman have split, the TLC star is trying to parent her two boys on her own. Before long, Glenn will celebrate his first birthday. Amy documents his growth and progress on her Instagram page to keep fans in the loop.
Recently, Amy uploaded a photo to celebrate Glenn’s 11-month milestone. But fans weren’t very happy about the images she shared. In fact, some Instagram users railed against the reality star for her choice.
What exactly was wrong with the post and what did fans have to say about it?
Amy Halterman strikes again with her excessive filters
Tammy Slaton and Amy Halterman quickly rose to fame when 1000-Lb Sisters first appeared on TLC. As a result of their newfound stardom, the sisters began growing their online presence.
And as their followers know, both women love using heavy filters on their selfies. At this point, it’s almost part of their brand.
The filters annoy some followers, while other fans point out that the women are just having some fun. But when Amy used a heavy filter on a photo of her son, more followers spoke up.
“I know Iām late but happy 11mo to my wonderful goofy boy!! Love you soooo much chunky,” Amy captioned the controversial Instagram post. She uploaded a photo of herself hugging and kissing Glenn, who happily smiles at the camera. However, Amy decided to put a beauty filter on the little boy.
“Stop putting filters on babies, they don’t need them š©” one of Amy’s followers wrote in the comments.
“Filter on baby…. Oh no š¤¦š»āāļø” someone else added.
A few Instagram users defended the 1000-Lb Sisters star. But the vast majority of the comments chastised the mother of two for her choice.Ā
Tammy Slaton ditches the filters for social media
Although Tammy Slaton still enjoys a filter now and then, she recently uploaded a series of selfies without any filters at all.
“6 beautiful photos of myself without filters,” Tammy captioned her own Instagram post. Many of her followers left kind words, even Dr. Smith who wrote how proud he was of her progress. Fans loved to see that she felt confident in her natural beauty without any help from filters.
For now, it seems that Amy is still a big fan of social media filters and isn’t likely to get rid of them anytime soon. However, fans hope that she will stop using them on her sons, at the very least.
