90 Day Fiance Amanda Justifies Quick Jump From Late Husband

This season of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days is already tugging at heartstrings. There is a catfish, a deaf man looking for his forever, and Amanda Wilhelm. She is a young widow with two children who lost her husband, Jason to cancer. It was heartbreaking to see that her kids wanted to sleep with their father’s ashes at night. More so, the fact that Jason knew something was wrong but the doctors seemed to ignore his complaints was even more devastating. He passed away within a matter of weeks of actually getting a proper diagnosis so it never got to set in.

Now, Amanda is on her way to meet her long-distance love, Razvan from Romania. They met on social media when she slid into his TikTok videos. Amanda claimed she really liked his sense of humor and how he made her feel. However, he has a career that is quite close to being adult entertainment. They have also fought and broken up a lot in their short courtship due to his flirtatious nature toward other women. Viewers were not so happy with a few things about their love story. They did not like his profession but mostly, it seemed that she moved on way too fast.

According to Starcasm, the 90 Day Fiance star is trying to justify what she has done. She took to her Instagram stories to explain the timeline of how it all went down. “My late husband and I were together for 12 years, married 8. He passed away early 2022 – filming for the show took place end of 2022 early 2023. Also, my children knew Razvan as being my friend only — nothing more,” Amanda started. She then addressed leaving her grieving kids behind.

Poor Children

The 90 Day Fiance cast member added: Regarding me leaving them to go to Romania, they were perfectly well taken care of and stayed in our home with family so that their regular routine was never interrupted. My children are my world and I would never do anything to cause them any trauma or pain. I was never looking to replace their father or even gave them the impression I was romantically involved with someone.” Amanda ended it by saying that her kids are free to carry around Jason’s ashes as long as they wish.

Do you think that she moved on too fast? More so, do you believe that Amanda’s timeline makes it sound better or worse? Let us know and watch 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days Sundays on TLC.
