Todd & Julie Chrisley Dead To Youngest Son Grayson

Grayson Chrisley tells his sister Savannah (and her podcast listeners) things would be easier for him to cope with if their parents were actually dead.

Because they’re here, but they’re not here. So it’s just time that’s being wasted. I’m saying, like, if they died, there’s no possibility of you getting any more time with them. So it’s over.”

Todd and Julie Chrisley are essentially dead to their son Grayson because that is an easier concept for him to wrap his mind around versus them being alive but not being close to him.

Acknowledging what her younger brother was saying, Savannah clarified that he was basically in a situation where he was stuck in limbo. With death, there is a sense of closure that their current situation does not provide them with.

Grayson continued to explain their parents being dead would be easier because he wouldn’t have to deal with time being wasted the way it’s being wasted right now.

Savannah Chrisley Tries To Shift His Perspective

Now, Savannah Chrisley has been called out for being insensitive toward people who have actually lost their parents as hers are still alive. Possibly using that, Savannah asked her brother if he tried thinking about the fact that at least his parents are still alive and available for hugs and love in some capacity. If Todd and Julie Chrisley were dead, he wouldn’t be able to get hugs, love, or support from them anymore.

Grayson acknowledged his sister had a point and he understood. He could still get all of those things because his parents were not actually dead. But, there was still a time limit slapped on it.

Savannah understood how the time limit on spending time with his mother and father could be difficult to process.

  1. I don’t get how your children want to cut off there parents after taking care and providing for them for all these years all I see is some ungrateful kids . Grayson wants to cut off his parents who made sure he went to the best school had food on the table everyday I don’t get it

  2. He’s young, and not realizing how thankful he should be that his parents are both still alive. I know it had to be hard knowing they are in prison, and for a very long time. but, they are still alive, and he should be thankful for that.

    1. Your right he’s young and having your parents do something that makes the law throw you in jail away from your children makes him mad. They are smart people who broke the law and their family is also paying the price for their mistakes! I thought they were smarter then that!

  3. Others have done worse and served less time. Let them out now. Put away people in Congress that need a lesson learned. Grayson is just embarrassed of his parents being in jail and I’m sure he’s being teased. What kid wouldn’t be mad. Send them home and let them work off the debt instead of causing taxpayers more money.
