Mama June Crashes Meet & Greet For Attention

Mama June Shannon is crashing her kids’ meet and greet, seemingly for attention. The mother of four has been trying to get in touch with her daughters since this season of Family Crisis began. Yet, three of them want nothing to do with her. So, she decided to take matters into her own hands and let her presence be known. How did it go down? Read on for more details.

It has been a rough season of Family Crisis for Mama June and her daughters. Pumpkin is struggling to raise one toddler and three babies as well as a teenager. Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson is now a senior and requires a lot more funding. It is far more than what June provides every month in her $800 child support. June and her husband, Justin Stroud have decided to have a lavish wedding ceremony. His mother, Mama Dukes wants to participate and pan events for the couple, including the bridal shower. She was really hopeful that June’s daughters would be there as June claimed that they would want to participate.

Mama Dukes has no idea how bad her relationship with Pumpkin, Alana, and Jessica was. The girls refused to answer Mama June’s calls. However, June said that she had a trick up her sleeve when only Doe Doe showed up to the shower and the family wanted Honey Boo Boo. Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell came after having surgery but that was suspicious. Now, in a preview for Friday’s episode, Mama June decides she is no longer waiting for her kids to come to her. Rather, she is coming to them. According to ET, the family decides to do a meet and greet with their fans.

Alana loved people coming up to her at the drag show so she felt they should capitalize on that. Everyone is there including Dralin and Jessica’s girlfriend, Shyann. This is a big deal for Jessica and she is happy that she and Shyann can celebrate a moment like this. Then, June sees the news of the event and feels that she should make her presence known. If they won’t respond to her, she will come to them.

Here Comes Mama

Mama June tells Justin of her plan. “They won’t text or call me back, I have no choice but to roll up on them on the day of the meet and greet. All I want is a relationship with them, and hopefully this shows them I’m willing to go to whatever lengths to make this happen.” He thinks she is doing the wrong thing and that this will backfire horribly. Her belief is that, if they are in public, they will have to listen to her.
