Kristoffer Polaha Would Like To Do Another Hallmark Mystery
Sleuthers may have noticed that in a recent Kristoffer Polaha interview, he revealed that he still has a few Hallmark bucket list roles. That includes doing another Hallmark mystery series. What did he have to say?
It has been over a month since Polaha’s role as Travis Burke was axed by Hallmark. But, despite the disappointment of Mystery 101 end, he still wants to be involved with another mystery. According to an interview with TV Insider, Kristoffer revealed how much he loves acting in Hallmark mysteries.
I love the mystery audience, and I love that genre, so I would love to get to start asking the question ‘Whodunit?’ again with Hallmark, and who knows, maybe I will in some way or another.
Although he did not share any revelations, he did say that “I have a couple of ideas.” However, Kris did not elaborate. But, thanks to a recent interview, we have another piece of this puzzle.
Mystery 101 Screenwriter Reveals Collaboration With Series Star
How far along could Kristoffer Polaha be in starring in a new Hallmark mystery series? According to an interview with Mystery 101 screenwriter, John Christian Plummer, on the Hallmark Mysteries & More podcast, Plummer was working with Polaha on a new mystery series.
It should be noted that this interview was recorded right before the WGA strike. Hollywood writers are currently not working on anything.
However, JCP is mum on sharing any sort of idea or concept. The clever screenwriter is not about to give anything away. However, Sleuthers know that the two are a winning combination.
Who Could Co-Star With Kristoffer Polaha In A New Hallmark Mystery?
Lastly, should Kristoffer Polaha star in a new Hallmark mystery series, who would be his co-star? Polaha has already hinted that he knows who will pick the perfect star for him. He is trusting the longtime Hallmark co-star matchmaker, Penny Perry.
I have a couple of ideas, but I also really love trusting Penny Perry. She does such an amazing job.
Unlike Hallmark romcoms, there is usually a chemistry test for mysteries. Or, as John Christian Plummer had revealed, they knew the perfect co-stars for Mystery 101, as Jill Wagner and Kristoffer Polaha had already starred in Pearl In Paradise.
