‘WCTH’ Season 10: Will Elizabeth And Lucas Hit A Rough Patch?
WCTH Season 10 is fast approaching. One of the biggest stories of the upcoming season will be Lucas and Elizabeth’s wedding. What have the two leads, Erin Krakow and Chris McNally, shared about the LucaBeth relationship? Could they hit a rough patch in planning the wedding?

Chris McNally Shares Lucas Will Face Problems In WCTH Season 10
On Friday, Parade shared some storylines for WCTH Season 10. However, they did not have a lot to share about Lucas and Elizabeth except to say that “the romance continues,” the two actors portraying the couple have already shared some hints about the upcoming season.
Firstly, Chris McNally spoke to ET about his character Lucas Bouchard. It sounds like the saloon owner is going to be facing some major stuff. It sounds downright ominous.
I don’t want to give anything away but I will say that Lucas has not faced an obstacle this large, this drastic since he’s joined the show.
In addition to this comment, he further shared more, citing Bouchard’s problems as “epic.”
So, We have some pretty epic, pivotal conflict to overcome and it’s sort of all-encompassing.
Does this have to do with his business, or will this season deal with Lucas Bouchard’s past?
WCTH Couple Will Face ‘Ups And Downs’
In addition to Chris McNally, Erin Krakow has revealed a small morsel about the LucaBeth relationship in WCTH Season 10. Speaking to TV Line, she “teased” a small hint about what the couple will face during this season.
Firstly, she shared that in this upcoming season, Lucas Bouchard and Elizabeth Thornton will get to know each other better. “Let’s just say that they are still learning new things about each other.”
Next, she hinted at some strife. “There are ups and downs, as in any relationship, but in the end, everything is as it should be.”
It doesn’t sound like there is anything catastrophic happening in their relationship. Instead, it sounds like they will learn to compromise, as in any serious relationship.
Why This Will Be A Different Wedding Than Elizabeth’s First
Lastly, the WCTH Season 10 big wedding will be very different from Elizabeth’s first marriage to Jack Thornton (Daniel Lissing). A lot of things have changed for Elizabeth. Chiefly, she is now a mother. Little Jack’s (Hyland Goodrich) needs are going to be a priority. Also, she already had a big, fluffy wedding. Does she want to do that again? We have that answer.
When the news of the new season came out, Entertainment Tonight caught up with writer Elizabeth Stewart. She revealed that “I don’t think she needs or even desires to be swept off her feet in quite that once-in-a-lifetime way she was with Jack.”
However, this is Lucas Bouchard’s first wedding. In addition, he comes from wealth, and his mom, and Elizabeth’s editor, Helen Bouchard (Teryl Rothery) is a woman who likes things done a certain way.
Although there are not a lot of details about this Hallmark wedding, Hearties do understand that there are potentially a lot of moving parts.
