Wait — did Tammy Slaton really call her younger sister a “b*tch” on Instagram?
Now that 1000-Lb Sisters is on the off-season, the family members are looking for other ways to make money. Amy Halterman recently teamed up with a cookie brand to promote products. And what better way to do that than to upload an Instagram ad?
But the way she eats the treat had several fans turning their heads — including Tammy Slaton.
Tammy Slaton teases her sister for the way she eats
Fans of 1000-Lb Sisters know that the family members often poke fun at one another. And now that Tammy Slaton is active on social media again, she felt the need to roast her sister Amy over her latest social media promotion.
In the video advertisement, Amy takes a big lick of the cookie dessert, proudly displaying her tongue as she does it. As she takes a bite of the cookie, a bit of frosting is visible on her lip.
It was certainly an odd video and Tammy had no problem letting her younger sister know how she felt.
“Amy come on b*tch your licking a push up cookie not ice cream why you go to lick it 😂😂😂😂😂😂 🤦🏼♀️ smh only my sister would do something silly like this lol jk,” Tammy wrote on her sister’s post.
In the replies section, fans laughed at Tammy’s bold comment.
“I heard your voice while reading your comment and busted out laughing lmao,” one of Amy’s followers wrote to Tammy.
Fans express concern over the sugary treat
Most reality television stars engage in promotions now and then, but many Instagram users thought it was inappropriate for Amy to advertise a cookie brand. The TLC star has struggled with her weight since the series began. And after giving birth to two sons, it’s been harder for Amy Halterman to stay on top of her diet.
“I’m pretty sure this shouldn’t be on her diet,” one follower wrote in the comments.
“Not sure why all these companies want to send you stuff that isn’t good for you. Almost like they are sabotaging you,” another added.
Fans have been equally concerned for Tammy, who recently dubbed herself the “diet sodie” ambassador on Instagram. Although diet soda may not have all the harmful properties of regular soda, it has plenty of other ingredients that aren’t exactly healthy.
But with hard work, the sisters can stay on top of their goals. Fans would love to see the family return for a fifth season, but TLC has been pretty tight-lipped about that so far.
