While the show was airing in early 2021, Rachael was the center of major controversy over photos taken in college. The two reportedly broke up. However, by May 2021 they were back together and thriving. They’ve been going strong ever since. However, recent social media activity has fans wondering what is happening, and many think there could be trouble in paradise. Keep reading to find out more.

The Bachelor Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell are causing a stir in Bachelor Nation. Due to social media activity or rather the lack of it, fans are beginning to think there is something wrong in their relationship.
It seems Matt and Rachael have been spending a great deal of time apart. Both of them are posting from different locations. The whole situation has been rather confusing for some, how? For example, just today, Matt posted ads for a deodorant. Rachael was in one of them and he wrote it was Rach approved. However, this is an old ad. It appeared colder out and Rachael is out of town according to her Instagram Stories. She is staying on an island for the next week. Matt has been in New York with his mom.
She posted about going to a spa and Matt commented with a bathtub emoji to which she said, “scrubadubdub.”
The two have not shared posts together in a few weeks. Fans have commented on Matt and Rachael’s social media asking where the other is. So far neither has responded.
Many will argue that Matt and Rachael still comment on or like each other’s posts and some will point out that they follow each other on Instagram still. Does that mean they are still together?
A big clue
Yes, Matt and Rachael do follow each other on Instagram. They even comment every now and then or like a post. However, one big clue emerged that could mean that at the very least Matt and Rachael are having issues.
Matt’s mother is NOT following Rachael anymore. She was following her at some point as she has liked posts even just back in February. As of Friday afternoon, Rachael is still following Matt’s mom.
There are clues that could really go both ways. Die-hard fans are not often wrong when it comes to splits in Bachelor Nation.
Time will tell and eventually, Rachael and Matt will address their situation.
