‘Bringing Up Bates’ Katie Bates Lands In ER, What’s Wrong?

On social media and YouTube, Katie and her husband, Travis Clark, do a good job of keeping fans in the loop about their lives. They welcomed their first baby, Hailey, in February and have taken fans along as they raise her. While they tend to keep things positive, they make sure to update fans as they face different challenges. Most recently, they revealed that Katie was in the ER.
The Bringing Up Bates star lands in the ER.
On her Instagram Stories on Wednesday evening, Katie revealed that she had ended up in the emergency room the night before. In her post, she shared a snap of herself and her husband sitting in the emergency room. It was 12:24 am when she was there.
She explained what was going on and said that she’s been experiencing “a ton of pain.” She originally went to urgent care but was sent to the ER. The Bringing Up Bates star informed fans, “They let me know I had kidney stones. I’m currently on medicine while I wait for them to pass!” She’s also trying to stay hydrated.
In addition to posting to her Instagram Stories, Katie and Travis shared a short video on YouTube to update their fans. She described the pain as being worse than labor.

How is Katie Bates Clark doing now?
Fortunately, based on what Katie shared on Instagram and YouTube, it looks like she’s going to be okay and went home from the hospital. She’s taking a couple of medications to help. However, she is still waiting for the kidney stones to pass. Hopefully, she will share an update very soon and be feeling her best in no time.
In the comments section of the YouTube video, fans are sharing advice and promising to pray for Katie. Many have experienced kidney stones themselves and have different tips and tricks to help her out.
