Amanda Halterman Proudly Shares Her Sons’ Major Milestones
TLC personality Amanda Halterman is over the moon about her sons’ latest achievements.
1000-Lb Sisters generally centers on Tammy Slaton and Amy Halterman‘s lives. But over the past few seasons, fans have had the chance to meet more of their family members. Right from the start, plenty of fans fell in love with their older sister Amanda.
Since finding fame on TLC, Amanda has become more active on social media, including Instagram. So what exactly did her sons accomplish this week?

So far, viewers haven’t seen much of Amanda Halterman’s family on the show. But she does frequently talk about her family and believes that being a mother has been one of the biggest blessings in her life.
That’s why she had absolutely no issue bragging about the major milestone two of her sons just crossed.
It’s graduation season all over the United States and it seems that the 1000-Lb Sisters cast members really have something to celebrate. Two of Amanda’s boys have now graduated from high school.
“Congrats to my baby child and bonus son! Today they are high school Graduates. I am so proud of these two kiddos,” Amanda captioned her Instagram post. She attached a photo of herself, her arms proudly wrapped around the two boys.
Fans sounded off in the comments to wish the new graduates well.
“Congratulations Momma you did a great job too!! 💕😁” one follower wrote.
“Congratulations boys, onward and upward. 🙌” another added.
Amanda didn’t say what the boys planned to do next. But wherever they go next in life, it seems like they will have their mother’s full support.
The TLC star opts for a change and goes bleach blonde
The 1000-Lb Sisters star is so focused on her family that she doesn’t spend much time on herself. As seen on the show, Amanda frequently steps in and helps her siblings whenever they need it.
But recently, Amanda decided that it was time to take a little time to enjoy herself. And what better way to do that than a trip to the salon?
“Cause sometimes a little TLC goes a long way! #self-care #self-love,” the TLC personality captioned a recent Instagram post. In the first photo, her hair is in foils. But in the second, she shows fans the final result.
It appears that she lightened the color and also had it straightened. Fans agreed that she looked amazing and loved that she took a little time for self-care.
