Guest Hosts For ‘Beat Shazam’

The father of 12 children and DJ Kelly Osbourne were selected to host Beat Shazam in Jamie Foxx and Corinne Foxx’s absence. Out of support, Corinne continues to stay with her dad, 55, in his recovery from a medical complication. Initially, he was hospitalized for back on April 11. Mike Tyson had a few words to say on the medical matter.

The family has voiced disapproval towards media that made his medical state out to be far worse than it is. Jamie Foxx is expected to make a full recovery and has been out playing pickleball according to Corinne.

The two stand-in hosts are seen as favorable options in the Foxx Family’s absence. Both dad and daughter Foxx feel very confident in the choice for their substitutes.

Elaborated by Nick Cannon, “I’mma do my best to live up to Jamie’s Beat Shazam legacy.”  He defined that as three things:

1. Play the biggest hit songs on the planet.

2. Throw a party every single night.

3. Give away money.

To emphasize the last point, he posed it as an audience question of “how much money” and received a loud response of “One million dollars!”

Nick Cannon continued by introducing Osbourne, 38. “Now, while Corinne is spending some daddy-daughter time with Jamie, it’s my pleasure to introduce our guest DJ, who actually needs no introduction,” he said. “It’s the incredible Kelly Osbourne.”

Sizing Up The Competition

After being introduced, Kelly Osbourne brought out the three teams competing for the grand prize. All things considered, Kelly was so pleased to be a part of the new season. All in all, she expressed that she wants to do right by Corinne. Mainly, she hopes she is doing her justice while she stands in.

What’s The Future Hold For The Foxx’s?

According to People, “Fox confirmed earlier this month that Cannon and Osbourne would be stepping in for Jamie and Corinne as the Ray star continues to recuperate from a “medical complication” and his daughter supports his recovery.”

As stated on FOX Instagram,Beat Shazam has been an unscripted mainstay on the FOX schedule for six seasons and counting.” FOX also acknowledged that they didn’t want fans to miss out on the game show so the alternate hosts were selected. Respectfully, they wished Jamie Foxx well on his road to recovery. In conclusion, their message offered words of appreciation for the gracious offer from the substitute hosts.

Although it hasn’t been announced when the Foxx Family will return to Beat Shazam, FOX did share that there are other plans in the making. At this time, the network plans for the Foxxes to have a new show next year.  While the timeline is still in the works, they are planning to appear on We Are Family. Altogether, it should be a fun game show that features a celebrity alongside a non-famous relative.  During the show, much like The Masked Singer, the featured star will be hidden.  Additionally, the audience can win up to $100,000 for solving the mystery celebrity identity, based on the given clues.
