Did Tom Sandoval start the rumors that he and Ariana Madix had an open relationship? Ariana made a point of saying that she believes it was him but nothing was confirmed. Now, the truth has come out and the culprit has been revealed. Was it Sandoval? Read on for more details.

After Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss were spotted dancing alone at The Abbey, questions arose. James Kennedy’s girlfriend, Ally Lewber was the one who saw them and she shared this with some girls. One of the girls was Katie Maloney who said that Sandoval and Madix did not really have rules in their relationship. What she meant was that they did not keep tabs on each other and nothing more. That spawned the rumors that the couple had an open relationship. They denied it and Ariana even said she was not that cool.

Then, in March 2023, it broke that Tom Sandoval had been having an affair with Raquel since August 2022. More so, The Abbey concern made sense. It was not addressed in part one of Vanderpump Rules reunion which aired Wednesday night on Bravo. However, an extended version was released Thursday, May 25th on Peacock. There, they showed unseen footage from right after Ariana learned about the affair. All of her friends were gathered and Scheana Shay came by. Shay then shared that, at Coachella, in April 2022, Tom Sandoval dropped a bomb.

He was in a hot tub and revealed that he and Ariana had an open relationship. After that, he proceeded to flirt with Raquel. When Ariana heard this, she said that was never the case. Of course, Tom Sandoval claimed that was false when confronted at the reunion. Scheana said he would have to take it up with Raquel when she was brought out. Due to a TRO that Raquel had brought against Scheana, the two could not film together so she could not confront Leviss herself.

Making Mistakes

It was also addressed in the extended version as to what Tom Sandoval planned to do about his mother. She and his stepfather had invested 250K into Schwartz & Sandy’s so Andy Cohen wanted to know if he was able to pay her back. He said he had not but that she was just fine. Additionally, he tried to make it clear that he would pay her back no matter what.

Unfortunately, his two restaurants with Tom Schwartz had taken a hit after ‘Scandoval.’ Yet, Schwartz maintained that he just stopped into one and it was nothing but love. As for Lisa Vanderpump, she did share that she gave them both back their 50K TomTom investments since they were struggling. So, there is a lot of cleaning up these guys have to do.
