Tiffany & Lawson Bates’ Delayed Announcement Baffles Fans
As TV Shows Ace has reported, Lawson and Tiffany were supposed to make a big announcement with People Magazine on Friday, May 12. Now, over a week later, the news still isn’t public. Lawson simply explained to fans that it’s not within their control. But he hasn’t given a reason for the delay.
Many Bringing Up Bates fans believe that Tiffany is pregnant, but there’s no official confirmation at this point. Fans are getting upset at the delay and are eager for answers.
Is This The Real Reason The News Is Delayed?
Online, fans have been trying to figure out what is going on with Tiffany and Lawson Bates’ big announcement. On Reddit, a few fans are throwing around the idea that the new Duggar docuseries trailer has affected Tiffany and Lawson’s news. Last week, the trailer for the docuseries was released by Amazon Prime Video. It is all about the Institute in Basic Life Principles (IBLP) and the harmful teachings the Duggars grew up with. The Bates family is also involved in the IBLP.
As TV Shows Ace reported, the Bates family did make a couple of brief appearances in the trailer. Plus, they are set to be featured, as noted in the official press release.
One Reddit user asked, “Could this be another reason why People has postponed Lawson and Tiffany’s announcement?”
Someone else pointed out, “Didn’t the show get canceled right before his wedding too? My man, take a hint from the Lord and just lay low. Your whole family is about to be famous for all the wrong reasons.”
It’s unclear why Tiffany and Lawson Bates’ announcement is delayed by more than a week now. But some feel that this would be a reasonable explanation.
