I had a miscarriage 20 years ago after 13 years of marriage. I felt a bad joke had been played on me because it took 13 years to conceive Chloe, she was gone in 18 weeks.
However, the Lord is full of LOVE AND GRACE and allowed us to conceive a girl at 14 years, Mary. (Remarried at age 19 in November 2023).
In my 16th year of marriage, he allowed me to conceive a son, Henry. He is 17.
So, yes, the week Henry turns 18, we will be married 34 years.
Only the Lord knows why he makes us wait so long.
I made a typo. Mary was NOT (Remarried at age 19, she became married at age 19). She has a wonderful husband and I am privileged to call him “Son” and he calls me “Mom.”
Both of my kids tell me they love me everyday, by either phone call, text or when they come over. This includes my Son In-Law. Whom we address each other as as Mom and Son.
