Jeremy Vuolo Attempts Damage Control Amid Duggar Docuseries?
Is Jeremy Vuolo attempting damage control amid the upcoming Duggar docuseries, Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets? It looks like he might be trying to clear his name and separate himself from his wife, Jinger Vuolo‘s family. What did he do, and what might it mean? Keep reading for all of the details.
As TV Shows Ace has reported, a new Duggar docuseries is coming to Amazon Prime Video on June 2. The series will expose the IBLP (Institute in Basic Life Principles), which the Duggars are a part of. So far, the famous family hasn’t broken their silence on the upcoming release or the trailer, which came out this past week. A couple of family members, including Jill and Derick Dillard, did appear in the docuseries.
Jeremy Vuolo makes a big statement about submission.
On Twitter, conservative commentator and YouTuber Allie Beth Stuckey shared a new tweet about wives submitting to their husbands. She said, “If your masculinity is entirely dependent on a woman’s submissiveness, you’re not actually masculine at all. You’re just insecure.”
Jeremy shared a screenshot of this on his Instagram Stories and showed that he agreed with the sentiment. He added a 100% emoji and also captioned his post, “Well said.”

What does this mean?
In his post, Jeremy didn’t give much context or say why he chose to share this. It’s possible he simply liked the message, but there is a chance that there is a lot more going on here. For one, the Duggar docuseries trailer was released this past week. The docuseries debuts on Amazon Prime Video on June 2 and exposes the Duggar family’s religious organization, the IBLP. One of the beliefs held by the Duggars is that wives must submit to their husbands. So, if this is discussed in the docuseries, Jeremy might be trying to get ahead and clear his name now.
It’s worth noting that Jeremy and Jinger have left the IBLP. But they are still connected to the Duggars and this docuseries in some ways.
It’s also possible that Jeremy Vuolo was attempting to throw shade at his father-in-law, Jim Bob Duggar. Since Jeremy didn’t specify what his post is about, there is no way to know for sure. But the timing of this post shortly after the trailer was released seems interesting.
So, do you think that Jeremy Vuolo is trying to clear his name before the release of the Duggar docuseries? Or do you think he might be throwing shade at his father-in-law, Jim Bob Duggar? Tell us why you think he shared this message in the comments section below, and come back to TV Shows Ace for more news about the Duggar family.
