Mama June To Stay Clean, Won’t Even Use Weight Loss Drugs
Mama June Shannon is speaking out and saying she plans to stay clean. This means to her that she can’t even use weight loss drugs. She isn’t going back to the way she was before.

On this week’s episode of Mama June: Family Crisis viewers saw June go to the hospital to get checked out. When she called Pumpkin to tell her, she threatened June that she better not be using drugs again or she was done. June insists that she isn’t using drugs at all. She is battling terrible headaches and getting dizzy. June is still having issues finding out what is wrong with her.
She shared saying, “I’m actually just trying to find the right doctors to be able to take care of the issues even though the scans are all coming back clear. You know, I’m just trying to find the right doctor to be able to kind of actually listen and give me the right treatment that I need.” More of this battle should air on the show this season, which just started.

Mama June Talks Staying Clean
Mama June actually spoke to The Daily Mail about her plans to stay clean and this even means restraining from using weight loss drugs. A lot of celebrities are using the drug Ozempic and Wegovy. Mama June shared that even though she has gained some of her weight back since having bariatric surgery in 2016, she won’t be using either of these drugs to lose it back.
June explained saying, “I don’t want to try Ozempic because, honestly, I’ve heard about so many bad side effects. It is using a drug that isn’t really prescribed to do that. They’re using a diabetic drug to take care of weight loss.” She went on to say, “No offense to people out there that are doing it, but it’s just not for me. I want to stay clean. I’m not judging anyone but it’s not for me.”

June is at about 241 lbs. right now and she said she has gained back 100 lbs. This happened since she got sober. She shared that the scale doesn’t really move for her and she just seems to be comfortable at that weight.
