Mama June Shannon’s illness remains a mystery and it seems that she is desperate for answers. Back in September, she was hospitalized for dizziness and just feeling completely off. With an extensive medical history, it just seemed fitting that she have a battery of tests. Unfortunately, she has been left in the dark. So, what is she doing to help her on her medical journey? Mama June’s Illness A Mystery, Desperate For Answers

In the season premiere of Mama June: Family Crisis, June started to feel really off. Her husband, Justin Stroud started to wonder if stress was getting to her. He had just told her that he wanted to have a big wedding with all of the trimmings. Therefore, he did not know if that was playing a part. Then, her face started to go numb and it was far more serious than anyone realized. She was admitted to the hospital where she underwent a bunch of tests. It actually caused her to miss sending Pumpkin her child support check.

That was how Pumpkin discovered that her mother not only was sick but had moved to Alabama. So, how is Mama June faring now? According to Distractify, she is on a mission to find the proper medical help. “I’m actually just trying to find the right doctors to be able to take care of the issues even though the scans are all coming back clear,” the mother of four shared. More so, she added: “You know, I’m just trying to find the right doctor to be able to kind of actually listen and give me the right treatment that I need.”

It has been very hard with the headaches and additional vision loss. This is cannot be easy for June who is already considered legally blind. In the past, Mama June has faced other health problems such as lipedema and several mini-strokes. Those were something that Pumpkin brought up when she learned that her mother was in the hospital. The hardest part is that everything is coming back clear so they just have to keep on digging.

Will Fans See It Play Out?

The season premiere of Family Crisis left on a cliffhanger with Mama June in the hospital unsure of what was next. It seems that the cameras will follow her journey to figure out what exactly is wrong. However, she does not seem all that concerned with her health as she has been seen eating barbecue and sweet treats. So, she may have to reevaluate her own lifestyle first before any conclusions can be made as to what is actually the culprit.
