Fans are disputing Lala Kent’s claims about Raquel Leviss and how she would have “won.” The Vanderpump Rules star has been open about her disdain for Leviss since Season 7. She had said some unkind things about Kent and often defended her now ex-fiance James Kennedy amid his disturbing behavior. Yet, Season 10 has been her worst one yet. However, Lala made a claim about Raquel that is clearly not holding up. Read on to find out more.

Fans Dispute Lala Kent’s Claims That Raquel Would Have ‘Won’

Lala Kent has never hidden the fact that she does not care for Raquel Leviss. They did bond over the fact that, at the beginning of Season 10, they found themselves both single. Unfortunately, Raquel became too big for her britches, as fans have seen. Now, this last episode on May 10th was originally supposed to be the Season 10 finale. Then, ‘Scandoval’ broke, cameras went back up, and an extra episode was added. Lala made it known that, had Raquel not had an affair with her best friend’s boyfriend, she would have won the season. Fans disagree.

Regardless of what she did with Tom Sandoval by having an affair when he was with Ariana Madix, she has a bad track record. She kissed two married men, one being Tom Schwartz and then, she argued rudely with Katie Maloney’s mother, Teri. Finally, a Reddit thread was started over whether or not Raquel really would have won the season. “Lala has said several times on her podcast that if it hadn’t been for Scandoval, Rachel would’ve ‘won the season,'” The OP started. They openly disagreed and proceeded to point out all of the issues they had with Raquel.

“I liked nothing about her really, I thought she was horrible, even if she never had anything to do with Sandoval,” they added. Someone pointed out that the cast and production do not always know what will hold the audience. One fan noted this: “Just look at Schaena this season. She thought she was on the “winning” side. She’s so damn lucky Scandoval happened so we’re not AS focused on what a terrible person she is.” Another added that Raquel seemed like a decent person all along and then she pulled her aging out of pageants stuff and that was the end.

Split Ends

Ultimately, fans were split between Lala Kent and Raquel Leviss. They did not really dislike Raquel all along but they never really connected with her. It didn’t make her a bad person. Then there were those who did completely disagree and never thought Raquel would have won this season. “I disagree too. But I think Lala means people would have had empathy for her because she seems lost and trying to find her way,” one Redditor noted.

They went on to say that it was her lack of empathy toward Katie that was the nail in the coffin along with a few other ill-fated events. Maybe fans appreciated her finding herself and becoming a free person away from James. Yet, it does not take away from the fact that she kissed Schwartz, she was disrespectful to Teri Maloney and became almost unrecognizable. If that is considered winning, what is losing?

Do you think, had ‘Scandoval’ not happened, Raquel would have won the season as Lala Kent says? Or, was she gradually digging herself a deeper hole? Let us know and watch the Vanderpump Rules season finale Wednesday on Bravo.
