As TV Shows Ace has reported, fans have been expressing how they really feel about Amber. And many are unhappy with her and the way she treats her five kids. They feel like she’s too controlling or that she treats them unfairly. Some viewers are even hopeful that TLC will create a spin-off with just the Johnston kids.
Now, Amber Johnston is leaving viewers upset once again. This time, everyone is unhappy with her treatment of her daughter, Anna.
7 Little Johnstons fans are furious about Amber’s treatment of Anna.
On Reddit this week, a fan made a new post all about Amber Johnston and the way she treats Anna, as demonstrated on the show. They feel that Amber is in the wrong for suggesting Anna needs to see a shrink. The fan explained, “Amber is gaslighting and brainwashing poor Anna into thinking she’s mentally ill and needs therapy.”
They also pointed out that Amber has said that Anna has adoption trauma. However, fans think that the trauma is actually a result of Amber treating her poorly. Viewers have picked up on the mom of five treating Anna much differently than the other kids.
This post is getting a lot of attention from fans, and it looks like many of them agree and are sympathetic toward Anna.
One 7 Little Johnstons viewer added, “Amber comes across as narcissistic, and Anna is the scapegoat.” Someone else chimed in, “She isn’t having episodes. Whenever she sticks up for herself Amber says she has episodes. She was treated horribly by Amber and Trent.”

Hopefully, things improve between Amber and Anna. Some of the family’s followers are seriously concerned about the young lady and the way she’s treated at home. But they are proud of her for all she’s done, including starting a successful online business and buying a home of her own.

I was so heartbroken for Anna after watching this scene. Amber was so wrong for her behavior towards Anna in this and other episodes. I have watched from the beginning and always thought she treated Anna differently than the other children. I am so proud of Anna and all of her growth and accomplishments despite not having the full support of her own mother.
I thought I was the only one sitting at home watching there exchanges between Anna and Amber and I’m yelling at the TV . if you notice she doesn’t let Anna speak until she jumps back in telling her what to do. I understand what Anna means in that clip where she says Amber doesn’t get excited about things for Anna or the things Anna accomplishes. She seems to get more excited for the other children even the other adopted ones so I think the problem Amber has is just with Anna I know I see it. if she reads these posts does she think this many people are wrong? I don’t think she thinks she’s wrong about anything.
