‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Pat Sajak Pokes Fun At Prodigy Winner
Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak poked some fun at one of the show’s most shocking winners. In a recent episode, a former winner returned to the show and proved, once again, to be a prodigy at puzzle games. However, after he won, Pat poked some fun at the man in a lighthearted manner.

Emil returns to Wheel of Fortune for another shocking win
Way back in March 2014, a contestant named Emil De Leon showed up on Wheel of Fortune and shocked everyone. He had the final puzzle to win his grand prize and only had two letters on the board. After Pat Sajak said it looked a little tough, Emil delivered the answer “New Baby Buggy” in just a few seconds. There was then a pause for a few seconds before that popped up on the board.
It was almost like even the producers backstage were shocked that Emil got the answer right. Pat jokingly asked Emil to assume the position and searched him like he was a police officer. Emil then won $45,000 thanks to this shocking win. In 2023, Emil was back on the show once again. Just like the last time he was on the show, Emil blew through all his puzzles and once again proved to be a prodigy at solving these word puzzles. This happened on Tuesday when Emil was back and won the show once again.
Emil beat fellow former winners and went to the main wheel for the grand prize. The standard letters were R, S, T, L, N, and E. Emil chose B, H, D, and I. Emil then got the win again.
Pat Sajak pokes fun at Emil on Wheel of Fortune
This was an easier win for Emil, as he had a lot more letters on the board. He only needed to come up with seven letters, with eight on the board. Emil then made the right guess in just a matter of seconds, delivering the phrase, “Work Out The Kinks.”
After getting this answer right once again, Pat Sajak just looked at him and shook his head. That is when Pat delivered the zinger, “he’s starting to get on my nerves” in a deadpan delivery. Emil won $60,500 this time and a new car.
Pat also poked fun at another returning winner in Christan Dixie. The last time that Christian was on the show, contestants grabbed the card to hand it to Pat, and that is no longer allowed. When Pat told him not to do it again, Christian said next time he did it, he would be replacing Pat as the show’s host.
