General Hospital: Jackie Zeman Dead At 70
With a broken heart, Frank Valentini took to Twitter to announce the General Hospital family was in mourning as their dearest Jackie Zeman passed away. As GH fans recall, Jackie played the role of Bobbie Spencer for over 800 episodes. Unfortunately, news of her death is so fresh that Jackie Zeman’s cause of death has yet to be made public.

Jackie will be greatly missed, but her positive spirit will always live on with our cast and crew. We send our heartfelt sympathy to her loved ones, friends, and family, especially her daughters Cassidy and Lacey. #GH

The official Twitter account of General Hospital also issued a statement about her passing: “We are devastated by the news of her passing, and send our deepest condolences to Jackie’s family, friends and loved ones.”
Fans of the actress have rushed to both her Twitter and her Instagram to pay tribute and to send prayers to the loved ones she’s left behind.
“We love you too GH wouldn’t be as successful without you too. You will always be such a heart and memorable character and actress on the show.” One fan penned.

A Look At Her Career
Jackie Zeman was just five when she started to train in classical ballet. Ten years later, she joined the New Jersey Dance Company. She even received a scholarship to help financially support her interest in dance. Deciding to switch gears and take a stab at acting, she made her debut by landing the role of Lana McClain in the TV series called One Life To Live. She went on to play the role of Lana in 49 episodes from 1976 to 1977.
From there, she got picked up by ABC and landed the role of Bobbie Spencer in General Hospital. She was a member of the GH cast from 1977 to 2023.
According to IMDb, she had 16 other acting credits on her resume as well. She played the role of Sofia Madison for 78 episodes of The Bay from 2010-2022. She played the role of Mo for 7 episodes of a TV series called Misguided from 2017 to 2019.
