It was love at first sight when Kim Zolciak saw a much younger Kroy Biermann at a dancing competition. Their courtship played out on RHOA and eventually spawned a spinoff, Don’t Be Tardy For The Party. Not only did Kroy adopt Kim’s daughters from her previous relationships but the couple had four kids together. They created this sweet little family and fans loved watching their antics. However, things changed over time. Kroy’s NFL career ended, eventually the show was canceled, and they were looking for different sources of income.

Kim seemed to always have her hands in different pots but then, they found themselves owing an excessive amount of money to the IRS. Their home was going in and out of foreclosure. Yet, Kim and her daughters Ariana and Brielle maintained that nothing was wrong. Then, the news broke that Kim had filed for divorce from Kroy Biermann which was a huge shock. With the divorce news came another change. According to Page Six, Kroy has already updated his Instagram bio.

Prior to the breakup, it said: “Husband. Father to six perfect munchkins. Athlete. You can Google Me & see I wasn’t Tardy for that Party.” Now, he has made a few alterations. Though it still reads “husband,” Kroy decided to add “My ring Meant a Thing.” This is a take on one of Kim Zolciak’s songs, “Ring Didn’t Mean A Thing.” She thought she would have a huge singing career, it did not go very far. Therefore, not only was Kroy slighting Kim by letting the world know that he took the vow of marriage seriously, but he was also mocking her “infamous” singing career.

What’s Next For The Couple?

Kim Zolciak is requesting physical and primary custody of their four minor children plus spousal support from Kroy Biermann. She is also willing to give him joint custody. How this will affect their financial problems is yet to be seen. Of course, some fans are shocked and cannot believe that this has happened.

“I never saw this one coming!!? Kim Zolciak has reportedly filed for divorce from husband Kroy Biermann!” one tweeted. Others are questioning the timing between the unpaid taxes and the filing. “Is it a “coincident” that Kim Zolciak filed for divorce from Kroy the same day news broke that they owe $1.1M in unpaid taxes?” another tweeted. Either way, it is really sad that the family is breaking up.
