JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers returning to host The Big D
TVLine shared the exciting news that Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher and her husband Jordan Rodgers are returning to television. Last year the couple hosted a new dating series called The Big D. However, the show was canceled by TBS before it ever premiered. Now, it’s coming back once again. This time USA Network has picked up the series and will be premiering it this summer.
The show will officially premiere June 14 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. It will feature people who are recently divorced and hoping to find love again. However, there is a twist that could complicate their journey. Their exes will also be in paradise.
The show will continue “over the course of a few weeks, 10 divorced couples will stay in a tropical villa in Costa Rica to re-learn how to date and search for love amongst a group of other single divorcees — and that includes their ex. The group will participate in revealing relationship “EX-ercises” designed to help the singles form connections, make peace with their former partners, and finally get over the issues holding them back from dating.”
Then, each week one person who isn’t really meeting relationship material standards will be sent packing.
They are the perfect hosts
JoJo is the perfect person to host the series since she knows all about finding love on reality television. She met her now husband Jordan Rodgers during her season as The Bachelorette. He was given her final rose on the finale and of course, he popped the question.
The couple were engaged for quite some time before being able to tie the knot. The pandemic hit which caused them to postpone their nuptials a few different times.
They were finally able to wed in May 2022. Now, the fan faves are talking about expanding their family in the somewhat near future.
Are you excited to see JoJo and Jordan host The Big D? Will you be tuning in?
