In January, the mom of two said she and Kelton aren’t in a hurry to add a new little one to their family. She explained, “We love the stage of life we’re in right now, like, we are obsessed with Willow and Hazel. I love their ages. I just want to, like, soak up every moment with them and enjoy it.”
Josie Bates Balka also said, “We would love more babies at some point, but we are just so happy with the stage we’re in right now.”

On her Instagram Stories this weekend, Josie Bates Balka gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at her family’s photo shoot. As we reported, the Balkas were in Arizona for a little vacation and soaked up some quality time as a family. While they were there, they had a gorgeous photo shoot. So far, they haven’t posted the photos taken by the photographer. However, below, you can see a snap Josie took during the session.
On Reddit, fans reposted this photo and began talking about it. Many agree that it’s possible Josie is pregnant and that this is an announcement shoot. One fan said, “I think so. I think she’s gonna try for a boy.”
Others think it’s just a regular family photo shoot though. One Reddit user said, “I think it’s pretty standard to get family photos every year, so I am not convinced it’s a pregnancy announcement— I won’t rule it out, but it’s also not my first thought.”
