Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar’s oldest single child, Jana, appears to have gotten some cosmetic surgery and a modern haircut. The elusive Duggar sister made a rare appearance in a video shared by her sister Joy. While the angle and lighting weren’t that great, many fans (and snarks) were in agreement Jana Duggar was hardly recognizable. In fact, many fans agreed she looked to have gotten a modern-day cut and some fillers or Botox in her face.
Was Jana Duggar spending too much time in L.A.? Or, did she have more freedom from the restraints of her father Jim Bob, and her mother Michelle than fans realized?

Many consider cosmetic surgery (strictly to improve one’s appearance or to turn back the signs of aging) to be extremely vain. So, cosmetic surgery that wasn’t medically necessary just isn’t something Jim Bob Duggar would ever support his children doing. Most would argue this is especially true of his daughters. And, even more so of the ones that are still without a husband.
Jana Duggar is a unique and hot topic among fans of this former reality TV family because Jim Bob and Michelle’s children rarely go past 17 or 18 without courting, getting engaged, and getting married. For reasons fans constantly speculate, Jana Duggar never got married. There have been many speculations over the years as to why. Some of the more popular include the fact that she serves as a convenient babysitter at Michelle and Jim Bob’s household. Another popular speculation is that Jana Duggar is a lesbian and refuses to marry a man. Naturally, there are also some fans who think Jana simply doesn’t want to marry and enjoys being a single woman.
With Jana Duggar not getting married, fans pose one very simple question: When does she get to move out of daddy and mommy’s household? At what age is she old enough to stop having to follow Jim Bob’s rules for all of his daughters without husbands?
Rocking this shocking new modern haircut and what appeared to be either fillers or Botox, fans are realizing the chains on Jana Duggar might not be as tight as they were back when the TLC cameras were still rolling.

Fan chatter on a few different forums (including Facebook and Reddit) discussed how different Jana looked in the content her sister Joy shared. Some fans pointed out that it was possible the angle and lighting were factors. But, Jana just didn’t look like Jana anymore. While it certainly looked like there had been some alterations to her face, fans agreed they would need to wait for more photos or videos of Jana Duggar to surface so they could be sure.
