Kate Chastain welcomed her baby boy into the world. Last year, she shocked Bravo fans when she announced that she was pregnant with her first child. She revealed her pregnancy in December 2022. However, she promised to stay mum on the details, including the gender.

Kate also refused to share what name she had in mind. On Friday, May 5, she shocked Below Deck fans once again. After taking a brief break from social media, Kate shared a photo of herself with her baby son. Of course, she wore her signature black shades.

The former chief stew still sat in the hospital bed. She shot the selfie as she held onto her little bundle of joy. Kate Chastain wore a white button-down shirt, which she left unbuttoned. She cradled her baby son, who was wrapped up in a blue, white, and pink blanket.

Even if he was ready for his picture. He looked directly at the camera. The little joy had a twinkle in his eye. Fans also got a glimpse at his brown hair.

Kate Chastain was also camera-ready. She had a swipe of pink lipstick. She captioned the shot: “Hard Launch: Sullivan Clay.💙” This will be one of the many snapshots she will share with her son.

She previously shared that she was due to give birth early. It’s safe to say that Sullivan was born either on May 4th or sometime this week. It looks like both Kate Chastain and her baby boy are doing just fine.

Below Deck alum shares her plans

Kate Chastain has shared some of her plans for motherhood. She will raise her son on her own. During her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, she admitted that she will become one of those moms who constantly post pictures of their kids. She isn’t going to be the type who hides her kid from the world.

She just wanted to keep the details of the pregnancy a secret until her son was born. In the meantime, fans will learn all about little Sullivan. Fans flocked to the comment section to share congrats. Some of them even noticed that Sullivan looked like Chef Ben Robinson with his little head of hair.

Many of the Below Deck cast members offered congrats as well. BFF and fellow Below Deck alum Josiah Carter wrote, “Yeyyyy congratulations he’s gorgeous!” Below Deck Med alum Katie Floody commented, “Congratulations babes! Welcome to the world Sullivan.” Summer House star Kyle Cooke added, “Aweee congrats Mama!”
