Thomas Ravenel Gets Permanent Sole Custody
Thomas Ravenel of Southern Charm was granted permanent sole custody of his two children with Kathryn Dennis. The reality stars have been in and out of court over the years arguing over the kids. They never actually got married so divorce wasn’t an issue for them. Back in March, it was revealed that Kathryn no longer had custody of the children. At the time, the reason for these changes was not revealed.
Thomas Ravenel Gets Custody
All About The Tea shared exclusive news today that Thomas Ravenel now has custody of Kensie and Saint. This all went down on January 17, 2023, even though it is just now being reported. Thomas gave details about the custody arrangement. Here is what he had to say.
“I was awarded sole custody. I make all the parenting decisions. Kathryn [Dennis] has the right to supervised visitation by an approved supervisor [approved by the court] between the hours of 9:00am — 7:00pm, every other weekend. She’s not allowed to have overnights with the children. I will transport the children to a halfway point between Aiken and Charleston where Kathryn will pick them up.”
Thomas went on to say that he was “beyond grateful” for the way it turned out. He also explained that family is very important to him. The fact that he has sole custody means that he is the one making all of the decisions for the children.

One thing that was shown in court was evidence that Kathryn Dennis had left the children alone several times. There was one time she left Saint with her father and he was asleep on the couch and Saint wandered out into the street alone two different times. The police were called the second time. Kensie was also in possession of an old phone of Kathryn’s that had pornographic videos of Kathryn on it. It is unknown how much she saw before Thomas took the phone away from her.
Kathryn Dennis Was Fired
Kathryn Dennis was actually fired from Southern Charm back in January. It was revealed that one issue was her being a “no-show” for filming. Another thing was being rude to the staff. It sounds like they had enough and didn’t renew her contract for the upcoming season. She even allegedly threw temper tantrums and didn’t like when other people got more attention than her.

that has to have been something terribly wrong for her to loose custody. the poor children must been very upset having their mother loose her rights.
She has been on a roller coaster for a long time. So sorry she has lost custody of her children, but from the information that has been shared they need to be in a stable environment.
This is just insane with all the legal issues he has he shouldn’t have those kids wat right mined judge would grant him custody oh that’s right a well paid off judge! Give those kids bk to her mother!!!
This is what fame and a prominent name in the south gets you… I live in Charleston so I know how things go in a town like this. He will get whatever he wants and she can fight til the death but she will never win. Who knows if any of the allegations are true but even if they are he isn’t much better… look at all the Tom foolery he has done in his life! The poor girl will bever win… she could be the world’s best mother and her children would still be taken from her. He used her for those children… he found a very young very naive girl to have children with before marriage so that he could get those children with no strings!
