Tammy Slaton Unveils Bright New Hair Color On Girls Night
Even reality TV stars need a break now and then too. 1000-Lb. Sisters stars Tammy Slaton and Amy Halterman decided to take a break from their busy lives to get down with their gal pals. Amy shared photos from the night on social media and it looks like everyone had a great time.
And that’s not all — fans couldn’t help but notice that Tammy looks incredibly different in the photos. Amy Halterman is usually the sister with the wild hair, but it seems like Tammy wanted to have some fun too.

Tammy Slaton stuns fans during her latest outing
During the course of 1000-Lb. Sisters Season 4, viewers were delighted to see that Tammy Slaton was making remarkable progress. She’s definitely in a much different space than she was in the previous seasons.
News about Season 5 is still pretty guarded. But if TLC is filming the new season right now, fans will get a chance to see a totally different look for Tammy Slaton.
The TLC star shared her new look while out for the weekend with Amy Halterman and some friends.
“Had a blast last night. Totally embarrassed myself but it was fun. Now to go pick up my boys…” Amy captioned her recent photo dump. “Can’t wait to see my new friends again we love y’all!!!”
The TLC star uploaded several fun photos from the weekend festivities. Several images featured Tammy and her brand-new hairstyle.
The length doesn’t look very different, but the color certainly is. Onscreen, Tammy generally sticks to blonde. But at some point, she recently decided to go for a ginger look.
In one photo, she’s posing next to a friend and flipping off the camera.
It’s definitely a big change from her usual blonde color!
Fans praise the 1000-Lb. Sisters star for her progress
Fans didn’t have much to say about Tammy’s new color, but plenty were excited to see that she seemed to be in great health.
“I was NOT expecting this,” one fan shared in the comments section. “TAMMY is doing so great. She looks like she may have lost 200 lbs! Keep on going girl! I hope that Amy, Tammy, And even other loved ones struggling continue to work for their health ❤️”
“Happy to see Tammy out of a chair and moving around without aide,” another follower wrote. Overall, fans were relieved to see that Tammy still seemed to be on the right track.
