Sunny Hostin Suggests ‘Real Housewives’ For Meghan McCain
Does The View alum Meghan McCain have what it takes to join the Bravoland universe as a member of the Real Housewives franchise? While having a chat with Andy Cohen on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, Meghan McCain’s former co-host Sunny Hostin took a massive dig at her while claiming Andy should seriously consider her as a cast member for the Real Housewives franchise.

As longtime viewers know, Meghan McCain appeared on the view from the years 2017 to 2021. Recently, she ripped the talk show to shreds as she opened up about how awful her time with the talk show was. The 38-year-old claims the producers constantly pushed her away from topics and when she returned from her maternity leave she was treated poorly. Referencing Rosie O’Donnell (who also hasn’t had kind things to say about the talk show), Meghan thanked her former co-host before noting that everything about the talk show “just keeps getting worse.”
Looking to stir the pot, Andy Cohen probed Sunny Hostin for her thoughts on Meghan’s scathing column about the talk show. Sunny jokingly admitted she was going to need a drink before they could start unraveling that.
She didn’t read the column, still friendly
Sunny Hostin admits that she had heard of the column, but she hasn’t gone out of her way to read it. Andy Cohen thought it was important to interject and let Sunny know that he had read the column. The View host, however, noted that she did not agree with Meghan McCain as she thought things were great. Moreover, she pointed out that ratings were also doing really well.
Sunny made it a point to clarify that ratings of The View have always been pretty good. But, they are presently at an all-time high as the show is considered “the number one talk show in the country.”
“I dunno, I’m surprised she’s writing about the book. I mean, I know her husband likes to mean tweet about me which is shocking, but Meg and I have always been… friendly, we remain friends.”
Sunny takes dig at Meghan McCain, should join Real Housewives?
Given how scathing the piece Meghan wrote was, Sunny Hostin wasn’t going to miss out on the opportunity to take a dig at her former co-host. So, she seizes an opportunity to point out that Meghan McCain is doing a lot of talking for someone who isn’t even on television anymore.
And I don’t think she’s doing television anymore, I think you should hire her for one of the Housewives franchise, she’d be great on Potomac or any of them, and I just wish her well.”
