Fans Call ‘7 Little Johnstons’ Family A Disgrace & Disrespectful
Fans are calling out the 7 Little Johnstons family for being a disgrace and being disrespectful. Several TLC viewers have shared their thoughts about the family’s behavior, and it looks like they have a lot to say. What did the family do to make everyone so upset? Fans haven’t been impressed with the Johnstons lately.
Living their lives in the public eye means that the Johnstons are subject to criticism online. This can certainly be a lot at times. Their followers often question the content they share on social media or the things they see on the show. No matter what they do, the Johnstons simply cannot win with fans.
Some of the latest issues have been with Amber Johnston being snarky with her Instagram followers and Trent and Amber’s constant bedroom talk. The list of problems fans have with the family goes on and on. Now, things are at another level as fans accuse them of being disrespectful and disgraceful.
Why do 7 Little Johnstons viewers think the family is a disgrace & disrespectful?
In a new Reddit post, one fan expressed their concerns about how the Johnstons act when it comes to their exchange student Joose Jeskanen’s culture. Fans met Joose on the show and fell in love with him. He’s easily a fan-favorite. He’s since returned to Finland, but the family has been reunited with him a couple of times.
Criticizing how the Johnstons act when it comes to Joose’s culture, one Reddit user said:
“I also found the family’s response to trying Finnish foods and snacks incredibly disrespectful.”
Then, they referred to the 7 Little Johnstons family as a “disgrace.” One fan commented, adding that it “drives me nuts that they continue to mispronounce his name.” Another pointed out that they don’t really seem to try to pronounce his name correctly.
So far, the post hasn’t gotten a ton of attention since it’s still fairly new. So, fans may add to the conversation soon and reveal how they feel about the Johnstons’ behavior. It looks like at least a few are unimpressed with what they’ve seen so far when it comes to Joose’s culture.

I love the Johnsons…they are entertaining and they are no worse than watching the 2 guys showering on Love in paradise..
I agree with you! I think some people are just trying to find something wrong with a decent show. There are so many worse shows out there to watch.

Trent and Amber are CRINGY!!!!! I think they are phony, and he doesn’t have his own brain. Totally whipped, but what a big talker….🙄 She’s a know it all, with big gums and no style! I feel so much empathy for Anna because Amber is totally jealous of her. Clearly Anna is the cutest with the best personality in the family. Amber is always being passive aggressive towards her. I can’t watch anymore! Their bedroom talk is 🤮 like anyone wants that mental image!
It appears they are struggling to fill 45 minutes of tv time. Get rid of the couch scenes TLC.
After watching the past few weeks I don’t know why I would watch it again. I’d do just fine missing the show the rest of my life
